Is the Free plan really free?
Yes, with no end date and no card. Free is full parametric CAD with every Maker feature, STEP export included. Things on Free are public, and AI is limited to the credits you start with. Every new account also begins with 14 days of every feature.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Your 14 days of every feature start the moment you sign up, with every feature and 100 AI credits. Your first generated 3D body (a detailed figure or creature from a photo or a description) is free on top of that.
What happens when my trial ends?
You move to the Free plan: every Maker feature except AI, no card, no end date. On Free every Thing is public and AI needs a subscription once your trial credits are used up. If you made private Things, nothing changes until you choose: subscribe to keep them private, or confirm that they become public.
Why is yearly billing cheaper?
The yearly price is our standard rate. Paying month to month costs 20 % more, so yearly saves you about a sixth of the monthly total. You can switch between yearly and monthly when you change plans.
Can I add people to my plan?
Yes. Maker and Pro are priced per seat: add a seat for each person you invite. Team starts at 5 seats and adds shared workspaces, pooled credits and real-time collaboration.
What is a Thing, and what counts toward my limit?
A Thing is anything you make: a bracket, a lamp, a robot. Only Things you own count. Using a Marketplace Thing inside your own (a screw, a hinge) never counts toward your limit or your storage.
What if I hit a limit?
Nothing is deleted or locked. You can keep viewing and editing; new Things wait until you upgrade, free a slot, or publish one to the Marketplace.
Can I switch plans or cancel later?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from your account settings at any time.
Do unused credits roll over?
Monthly plan credits reset each month, also on yearly billing. Credits from packs carry over, so top-ups are never wasted. Leftover trial credits stay usable on Free until they run out.
